Securitas is a global leader in the security industry, providing advanced security solutions across various sectors. In the first quarter of 2022, their Belgian monitoring centers integrated Secury360's solution, offering enhanced video verification services for Secury360 system owners. This integration allows the Secury360 AI to filter video footage to detect only people or vehicles, which is then verified by Securitas monitoring operators.
In early 2022, Securitas integrated its Belgian monitoring centers with Secury360. This allows Secury360 system owners to opt for Securitas video verification. After the Secury360 AI filters the video to ensure only relevant entities (people or vehicles) are detected, the Securitas monitoring center verifies the footage.
Although we had heard of Secury360 prior to being approached by Frederick, we were more fully introduced to the solution through positive feedback from our partners, who praised Secury360’s perimeter detection capabilities. We were intrigued by their offering, and after seeing the demo, we were eager to collaborate.
While Securitas holds the position of market leader, we understand that we cannot afford to rest on our laurels. Continuous innovation is key. Collaborating with scale-ups like Secury360 allows us to remain at the forefront of industry developments. It also sends a strong message to the market about our belief in collaboration and emerging technologies. Most importantly, by partnering with Secury360, we believe we can offer our partners the best possible total security solution.
Traditional perimeter detection systems are known for generating numerous false alarms, which are frustrating for both monitoring centers and end-users. With Secury360’s dual filtering system (Edge and Cloud AI), this issue is no longer a concern for our monitoring centers. We believe that reducing false alarms is key to unlocking the potential of perimeter detection solutions, and we expect Secury360 to open new doors in this market segment.
